Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished work, which is not under review in any other conference or journal.
All abstracts and papers will be peer reviewed by the scientific committee based on their originality, significance, methodological soundness, and clarity of exposition. All works will be classified by the Scientific Committee in accordance with the scope of the congress and its thematic areas.
Submitted abstracts and papers must be written in English and contain author names, affiliations, email addresses, Keywords (no more than 5), acknowledgements and references. All submissions should be in Microsoft Word format. They must follow the instructions in the corresponding template file, available in Microsoft Word format at:
Abstract length must be 1 page incorporating all text, references, figures and tables.
Paper length must be between 4 and 8 pages, incorporating all text, references, figures and tables.
Submissions require that at least one author register, attend the conference, and present the paper. Accepted papers must be presented in-person (virtual or remote presentations are not allowed) as 15-minute talk or in a poster session. The language for the presentation must be English, which is the only official language of the conference.
AMPERE 2019 is using the OCS platform of UPV Press to manage the submissions. This system seeks to improve the scholarly and public quality of conference publishing through a number of innovations, from making policies more transparent to improving indexing. This platform provides authors with a submissions homepage where register their submissions and make appropriate changes. Submission instructions can be found below.
Accepted abstracts will appear in the conference Book of Abstracts (without ISBN) printed for the conference.
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings (with ISBN), published by UPV Press, and will be provided with a DOI number and submitted to be indexed in major international bibliographic databases.
OCS Platform Instructions
Step 1. Creating an account in OCS
Follow the next link to create an account on UPV's OCS
If you have a previous account on UPV's OCS follow the link and press the "Click here" button at the begining of the webpage.
Complete your profile and be sure to select the Reader and Author roles. Press the button "Create" to finish the registration on the submission platform.
If you have a previous account on UPV's OCS you will also have to complete your roles for this conference.
Step 2. Creating a new submission
Log into the OCS platform with the created account and you will be able to see the next screen.
To create a new submission press the corresponding button.
In the next screen, first, select the track that better fit the content of your work.
Accept the Copyrights notices and press "Save and Continue".
Step 3. Filling authors and abstract (text)
Fill the information of all authors of the submission adding as many authors as needed using the "add author" button.
Please fill the affiliation of each author. Although the software does not force the affiliation information, it is mandatory for this conference.
Fill the title of the submission, the abstract and the keywords.
Finally, press the "Save and continue" button to continue with the submission process.
Step 4. Uploading the abstract doc
Add the Abstract of the submission in Microsoft Word format according to the Template.
Please, do not pay attention to the heading text in this screen, this Additional Material (the Abstract in doc format) is mandatory for this conference.
A new metadata screen will appear after uploading the abstract, just continue to the next step.
Step 5. Finishing the submission
Confirm the submission by pressing the "Finish submission" button.
