Instructions for Authors
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished work, which is not under review in any other conference or journal.
All abstracts and papers will be peer reviewed by the scientific committee based on their originality, significance, methodological soundness, and clarity of exposition. All works will be classified by the Scientific Committee in accordance with the scope of the congress and its thematic areas.
Submitted abstracts and papers must be written in English and contain author names, affiliations, email addresses, Keywords (no more than 5), acknowledgements and references. All submissions should be in Microsoft Word format. They must follow the instructions in the corresponding template file, available in Microsoft Word format at:
Abstract length must be 1 page incorporating all text, references, figures and tables.
Paper length must be between 4 and 8 pages, incorporating all text, references, figures and tables (Template File).
To comply with the open access UPV Press policy, a Copyright Form is required to be signed by every author and uploaded during the full paper submission process. You can download the Copyright Form here.
Submissions require that at least one author register, attend the conference, and present the paper. Accepted abstracts must be presented in-person (virtual or remote presentations are not allowed) as 15-minute talk or in a poster session. The language for the presentation must be English, which is the only official language of the conference.
AMPERE 2019 is using the OCS platform of UPV Press to manage the submissions. This system seeks to improve the scholarly and public quality of conference publishing through a number of innovations, from making policies more transparent to improving indexing. This platform provides authors with a submissions homepage where register their submissions and make appropriate changes. Submission instructions can be found in:
Accepted abstracts will appear in the conference Book of Abstracts (without ISBN) printed for the conference.
Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings (with ISBN), published by UPV Press, and will be provided with a DOI number and submitted to be indexed in major international bibliographic databases.
The conference final papers will be published in open access (licensed under the terms of creative commons) by the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia Press.
Every final paper within the conference proceedings will be provided with a separate DOI number and submitted to be indexed in major international bibliographic databases.
The conference proceedings will be published with a particular DOI and ISBN.
The Scientific Committee will select the winners for the Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards of the conference. Outstanding contributions in the field of Industrial Microwave or RF heating will also be awarded with the AMPERE Fellowship, the AMPERE Medal and the newly established Ricky Metaxas Young Researcher Award.
